Special Worship Events
We offer marvelous organ music, periodic dramatic presentations, a Palm Sunday donkey walk and special worship services during Thanksgiving, Lent and Holy Week and Christmas Eve.
Sunday School
Outside of pandemic times, there are classes for preschoolers, children and youth from 8:45 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. during the school year. We offer a week-long Vacation Bible School in the summer. Confirmation program for 7th and 8th graders with weekly classes and occasional field trips are offered as well.
Adult Study
Adult Sunday school with Bible Study and issue related discussions, are currently held in a scheduled manner from Labor Day to Memorial Day. The Sunday school does not meet during the summer.
Immanuel Youth Fellowship
Youth Fellowship offers various activities through the year for youth 7th grade through college age. A fun summer volleyball league includes fellowship and casual competition with other area churches. Our youth fellowship volunteers their time to support other church fundraisers and missions.
Mission Committee
The mission committee focuses on doing God’s work in our community. The committee raises funds and awareness for local and global missions. The committee runs a weekly free food pantry. Annual fundraisers include a chili supper in February and ice cream social fundraiser in July.
International Partnership
We have a formal partnership with our parent church in Langenholzhausen, Germany with frequent communication. Visits are coordinated every several years.
